’m thrilled to be able to share the exciting news that I'll be releasing a brand new album in the new year on 27th February, my first solo album of original compositions in over ten years.
It’s called 'Notes To Self' and it comes deep from my heart. It’s a series of pieces I’ve written to Katy, my 13 year-old self, and each track is accompanied by a letter. It’s an album about my musical and life journey, and about having the courage to be yourself.
I can’t wait to share it with you all and take to the road to perform throughout the UK in 2026.

Musician Katy will release her first solo album of original compositions in over ten years, titled Notes To Self, on 27 February 2026. The record is a personal series of pieces written as letters to her 13-year-old self, reflecting on her musical and life journey and the courage to be authentic, and she will support it with a UK tour throughout 2026.
I really enjoyed reading about this new album, especially the personal story behind the music. The idea of writing these compositions as a series of reflections connected to Catrin’s younger self gives the project a much deeper emotional dimension than a typical album announcement. I also like how the music brings together memories, personal experiences, and the journey of a long creative career.
